Vastu Sacred Spaces
Ancient Wisdom for a Modern Wired World
Balancing the Five Elements
The precious knowledge of Vastu can benefit our lives in innumerable ways. Our modern stressful society can truly benefit from the awareness and implementation of this ancient art and science.
When you enter a building and feel uneasy, it means one or more of the five elements, fire, earth, air, water, or space, are out of balance. People may move into environments that are beautiful in appearance, with exquisite architectural details and design but if one of these elements is out of balance, they may end up with chronic health issues or divorce. Their lives change very rapidly in the new environment. The ancient art and science of Vastu addresses the causes of these problems, the directional imbalances, and misalignments in a building, and will correct these imbalances for a more balanced and harmonious life.
We are affected by our environment, which can be stressful or harmonious. The basic principles of Vastu create a situation where the elements are in balance. For example, in nature there is much life force energy, prana, whereas in crowded urban areas, there is less natural light and fresh air, causing stress. The more high-tech your life, the more you need Mother Nature.
Vastu is a science that addresses why we may feel uneasy in a space if one or more of the elements are out of balance, and how to balance these elements. The principles are the same all over the world, no matter where you are on the planet. The principles are based on how we are affected by two energies, magnetic energy from the north and positive solar energy from the east.
These are universal energies and set up an electro-magnetic field that covers the surface of the earth, in latitudinal and longitudinal lines, creating a grid system that radiates energy that comes from the center of the earth and illuminates energy from the moon, sun, and stellar constellations. If we align our buildings and physical bodies to this earthly grid system, we gain the support of nature. We align ourselves with the forces of nature so that we can thrive.
